Pit Throwdowns
For the sixth year in 2025, the Pit Throwdown is an annual fitness event exclusive to athletes ages 14-23. This summer favorite offers a highly competitive, exhilarant, and challenging showcase for young athletes to test their skill, strength and stamina against their peers.
Hundreds of youngsters have come through The Pit via the Pit Throwdown, which aims to inspire the pursuit of lifelong fitness in would-be leaders.
For the 2025 season, we are hosting our Pit Teen and Collegiate Individual competitions at the Pit Fitness Ranch on June 26-27.
In addition, we will be hosting a TEAM Collegiate Throwdown on August 21-24, running alongside the Age-Group CrossFit Games in Columbus, Ohio! Read more about each of the competitions below.
Pit Teen Throwdown
The Sixth Annual Pit Teen Throwdown will be held June 26-27 at The Pit Fitness Ranch in Three Rivers, Michigan. Online Qualifiers for Individuals are live, and you can register and submit scores through May 10th.
Pit Collegiate Throwdown
The Collegiate Teen Throwdown will be held June 26-27 at The Pit Fitness Ranch in Three Rivers, Michigan. Online Qualifiers for Individuals are live, and you can register and submit scores through May 10th.
Collegiate TEAM Throwdown
NEW FOR 2025! – The Collegiate Team Throwdown is an in-person competition consisting of 3 same-sex teammates, ages 18-23. This event is hosted by Pit Throwdowns and will be held alongside the Age Group CrossFit Games in Columbus, Ohio.
